Blues Piano Lessons Blues is the root of much of the music we hear every day—rock, R&B, jazz. Playing blues piano will gear you up to play and understand many other styles of music. Studying the blues on piano will include understanding of the three basic chord common to the blues (the I, IV and V chords). You will learn about blues scales, blue notes, blues licks, and common left-hand bassline patterns like the Boogie Woogie. Tempo School of Music
