To my mind there is probably no style of music more worth studying than jazz. The style has a rich diversity of rhythms, melody and harmony.

I will help you get started on the path to achieving yours goals in this style by making sure you have the basic fundamentals available to you in order to go as far as you want. These include a good grounding in sight-reading, theory, ear training and a working knowledge of the guitar as it applies to this style of music. We will work on chords, scales, and rhythm and apply them to actual tunes while we learn to improvise.

We will go at whatever pace you feel comfortable with – fast or slow. I am very patient and have taught hundreds of students over the last 15+ years. I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals whatever they are.
